RFMD Logo

In its simplest form, the RFMD brand is represented by the RFMD logo.

Our logo is the most fundamental element of our brand. It should appear in a prominent location on all communications. The RFMD logo cannot be replaced by a standard typeface. It should always be reproduced from original artwork and should never be rebuilt, redrawn, re-created, or distorted.

Logo Exclusion Zone

An exclusion zone is the blank space or margin surrounding our logo. Exclusion zones give our logo breathing space for maximum visibility.

In order to make the RFMD logo stand out and not be swallowed by surrounding text, graphics or photos, give the logo appropriate surrounding space. In most instances, one-half the width of the logo's letter "m" will provide the logo enough breathing room.

Logo Colors

Brands are often associated with colors. RFMD is no exception. Whenever possible, the full-color version should be used. The black-and-white logo is the only alternative version of the RFMD logo. Use this on white backgrounds only when color printing is not an option.

When to Use the Logo

The logo should be used whenever possible in all our communications: print, online, presentations, stationary, signage, etc.

Guidelines

Never use the logotype in a sentence, headline, or as part of a phrase. Instead, use the word "RFMD" in the same font as the other words in the sentence, headline, or phrase.

For legally binding documents, such as contracts, employment offers, invoices, and letterhead, include the appropriate legal company name (e.g., RF Micro Devices, Inc.), along with the RFMD signature/logo.

Do not share the RFMD logo with third parties (clients, customers, partners, or any other type of affiliate); only companies that are creating materials on our behalf.

Logo Usage

Our logo is fundamental to our communications and should never be compromised. Always reproduce the logo from original artwork.

Protect the integrity of the RFMD brand by being aware of the improper logo usage illustrated below.

To protect the RFMD brand, always use the logo with the TM attached.

This is how the logo appears against a colored background.

Don't change the colors of the logo, even if you’re using the official color palette.

Don't outline the logo. If the logo needs to appear one color on a colored background, use white for the entire logo.

Don't change the position of chevrons. Not in front, on top, underneath or entirely removed.

Don't use any other typeface for the logo. The Gotham Bold font has been carefully spaced, so please do not just use your own type. Use only the official logo.

Don't change the proportions of typography to chevrons.

Don't change the aspect ratio by stretching or flattening. All resizing should be proportional horizontally and vertically.
